31 batches of shoes exported by China recalled by Europe and America in the first quarter

according to the statistics released by the official websites of CPSC and RApex, in the first quarter of this year, 31 batches of shoes exported by China were recalled by Europe and the United States, a sharp increase of 40.91% compared with the same period last year. according to experts from Shenzhen 1nspection and Quarantine Bureau, chemical hazard is the main reason for the recall of footwear products, accounting for 82.48% of all the recall reports, and most of them are dimethyl fumarate (DMF), accounting for 94.69% of the recall reports due to chemical hazard. Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) is widely used as antiseptic and mildew inhibitor in shoe leather, fabric lining, insole and vamp as well as small bags in shoe and shoe packaging
