General features and instructions for use: The
FROMENT safety belt is tied to the waist and must be fastened to prevent sliding, but not to compress the abdomen. Adjust the adjustable buckle to fasten the waist belt.
The waist has a back pad and a D-shaped hook loop on each side. The safety rope and adjuster are connected to the hook loop to ensure the safety of the hanging work. Under no circumstances can this belt be used as an anti-fall brake.
Suggested use:
We recommend to equip each user with a belt: the belt can only be used by one person at a time.
When carrying out suspension work, it is very important to check to ensure the following:
-Use a safety hook and/or a safety rope retractor to properly secure the safety rope to the D-shaped hook loop on the side of the waist belt.
-Once the adjustment is completed, the lowering distance of the safety rope shall not exceed 0.5 meters.
-When using, the safety rope should be kept away from sharp objects and thin pieces. It may be necessary to put a protective sleeve on the safety rope.
Check the device before each use. Pay particular attention to the following points:
-Strap: Check to make sure that the strap is not scratched, burnt, rusted or shrunk.
-Seams: Check to make sure there is no obvious damage to the seams.
-Metal parts: Check to make sure that there are no signs of corrosion or deformation of the metal parts.
Note: If damage is found, the belt can only be repaired by the manufacturer or its authorized professionals.
Users are prohibited from modifying the product or adding parts.
Inspection process: The
belt must be systematically inspected by the manufacturer or its designated representative, usually after a fall accident or once every 12 months to ensure that the safety hook is working properly.
Easy to use:
As shown in the product information sheet, the belt is part of the fall prevention system. Please read the instructions of each part of the system before use.
Cleaning: washing with soap and water. After cleaning, wipe with a dry cloth and hang in a ventilated place. Wipe the metal parts with a cloth soaked in paraffin oil.
Storage: The
