How to prevent employees from fatigue of safety awareness

There are four manifestations of “fatigue” of safety awareness:

inhibition: it refers to the stagnation, blank, even rejection and resistance of safety learning and safety education activities. 1t is not interested in activities, can’t listen to them, can’t remember them. Safety learning is just a formality, and has the subjective desire to avoid and escape. This is obvious among young workers. Looking at the signature records of safety education, we can see that the scrawls are all young people. After the safety education class, ask young people questions, basically “one question, three don’t know”. Some managers focus on economic interests, ignore safety education and training, and resist safety education psychologically

slackness: refers to slackness, fatigue and carelessness in the implementation of rules and discipline. The basic characteristics are frequent violation of rules and regulations, reckless and self righteous at work. Young people are also the main ones. When checking oil depots, gas stations, liquefied gas stations, oil soaking plants and other class a fire and explosion-proof units, it can always be found that several young people steal smoking and tend to be careless

nervousness: it refers to a kind of nameless pressure that employees will feel in the process of safety production, especially when they have kept a long safety record. Performance characteristics are: with the change of season, abnormal equipment, accidents or special circumstances, feel panic, worried, do not believe in themselves, the more afraid the more accident. This is particularly prominent among the old employees and the leaders in charge of production and safety at the grass-roots level. This state is closely related to the fact that the party concerned does not treat production safety with a healthy psychological state and a scientific attitude, and blindly falls into a passive nervous tension

Fuzziness: it refers to unclear thinking, slow response, attention diversion, wrong thinking set, and specious judgment and reasoning. 1n work, they are careless, indifferent, paralyzed, fluky, trying to save trouble, even breaking the rules and discipline and causing accidents

there are four factors leading to “fatigue” of safety awareness:

physiological factors: only healthy and reasonable use of human brain can it operate sustainably and efficiently. On the contrary, if we have been engaged in monotonous, boring, nervous and highly focused work for a long time, the brain may have inhibition, rejection and paralysis of consciousness “fatigue” reaction to safe learning and education, which is a normal protective reaction of the brain from the physiological point of view. However, from the perspective of production safety, if people are not good at making scientific adjustments according to the situation, all kinds of unsafe hidden dangers will occur

psychological factors: unhealthy psychology can easily lead to “fatigue” of safety awareness. This kind of psychological factors mainly include the following three kinds:

1. tension and fear. This kind of psychology often makes the staff’s ideology highly concentrated and nervous. They always feel uneasy all day. They are always afraid that something will happen one day. Over time, they will develop into serious “fatigue” of safety consciousness
