What is a fall protection system?
Fall protection, as the name implies It is to protect high-altitude operators from being threatened by a high-altitude fall or to protect high-altitude operators from further injury after a fall (according to the GB/T 3608-2008 standard, high-altitude operations refer to the fall height reference level 2 m and above , The work carried out in the position where there is a possibility of falling).
Full body seat belt

The main function of the seat belt is to decompose and transfer the force and energy generated during the fall to protect the human body. The full-body seat belt is the only product suitable for fall braking. Choose the appropriate seat belt according to the type of work and the environment.
According to the GB/T 23468-2009 standard, work in a place with a fall risk of 2m or more from the reference level of the fall height. When protecting individuals from falling, you should use a fall suspension seat belt or a zone restriction seat belt. According to the EN361 standard, the bearing capacity of the metal hanging point on the back of the seat belt should be 15KN, and it should be maintained for 3 minutes.
The body of the half-length seat belt cannot be kept upright, and there will be a secondary risk when falling; at the same time, all the impact is concentrated on the lumbar spine, which will cause great harm to the human body. According to the OSHA 1926.502 standard, the United States banned the use of half-length seat belts in 1998.
Fall braking system

Fall braking system, also known as anti-fall brake, is the middle of the fall protection whole body safety belt and the fixed point or connecting piece (hanging rope, lifeline, etc.) hub. It can be divided into guiding type, shock absorption type, self-locking speed difference type and so on. When selecting a product, the possible fall height must be calculated according to the working environment to confirm the required fall prevention system.
Fixed points and connecting parts

Fixed points (connecting slings, poles, tripods, etc.) are the stress points of the entire fall protection system. Specific requirements: Europe: 10KN static load test for 3 minutes (EN795); China: GB6095 according to European standards. The fixed points should be located as high as possible to avoid collisions with the ground or low-rise structures when workers fall.
Connectors (hooks, large-caliber safety hooks, etc.) are components that connect the connection system to the suspension point. According to the EN362 standard, the bearing capacity should be 20KN and last for 3 minutes.
