How to use the safety rope for aerial work?

1. Correct use of safety rope 1. Fix one end of the escape rope or escape ladder to a firm object, and hang the other end on the safety belt or wrap it around the waist, fasten the safety hook, and attach the life rope Throw it downstairs along the window. 2. Put on protective gloves and hold the life-saving belt with both hands, hook the window sill with your left foot, and step on the outer wall with your left foot. After the person is stable, move your left foot out of the window. 3. Slightly bend your legs, push your feet hard on the wall, straighten your arms, loose your hands, look down with your eyes, and slide down the lifeline. 4. When approaching the ground, bend your right arm forward, tighten the rope and bend your legs, and touch the toes first.

2. What are the structures of the safety rope?
The safety rope requires a diameter greater than 16mm, with no uneven diameter, uneven twist, uneven strength, kinking, etc. along the entire length, and is easy to process and tidy, and it is economical. Commonly used structures are:
1. Three-strand twisted rope (three-strand nine-flower rope): It is composed of three twisted yarns twisted in the opposite direction to the rope. This is a method of twisting the rope without changing the twist. 2. Four-strand twisted rope (single-rope four-strand rope): Use four strands with a core rope in between, twist into a rope without deformation. The outer circumference of this rope is more round than the three-strand twisted rope, and the core rope is not sandwiched when making the string. 3. Multi-fancy rope: The three-strand twisted rope is used as a strand and then twisted into a rope, but it is rarely used now. 4. Six-strand twisted rope: the core wire of the same diameter is clamped in the six strands and twisted to make the same structure as the steel wire rope. However, when all fibers are used, they will deform during use, so this method is rarely used. 5. Braided rope: The same number of S twisted and Z twisted strands are woven diagonally across the length of the rope. Compared with twisted ropes, it has the characteristics of no kinks and the rope ends are not easy to open.
3. Requirements for the setting of a horizontal safety rope with a hand held 1. The horizontal safety rope with a hand held should adopt a 6¡Á37+1 steel wire rope with a fiber core with a plastic sheath, and its technical performance should meet the requirements of GBll02 “Round Strand Wire Rope”. And there is a product production license and a product delivery certificate. 2. Both ends of the steel wire rope should be fixed on a firm and reliable frame, and the frame should be wound at least 2 times, and padding should be added when contacting the edges and corners of the frame. 3. Rope clamps (also called wire rope chucks) should be used for the fixed connection of the wire rope ends. The rope clamp pressure plate should be at the end of the long end of the wire rope. The number of rope clamps should be no less than 3, and the distance between the rope clips should not be less than 6 of the diameter of the wire rope. The safety chuck is installed about 500 mm away from the last chuck. The rope head should be released for a safe bend before clamping with the main rope. 4. The fixed height of the wire rope should be 1.1~1.4m; a fixed support point should be set every 2m; the sag should be 10~30mm after the wire rope is fixed. 5. The hand-held horizontal safety rope is only used as a support rope for high-altitude workers in special circumstances when working at heights. It is strictly forbidden to use it as a safety belt suspension point. Regularly check whether the fixed end or fixed point is loose, whether the wire rope is damaged, corroded, or broken.

Fourth, the use of safety ropes 1. It is strictly forbidden to use hemp rope as a safety rope. 2. If the length of the safety rope exceeds three meters, a buffer must be installed to ensure high-altitude workers Security. 3. Two people cannot use a safety rope at the same time. 4. When carrying out high-risk operations, in order to make the high-altitude workers safer during the movement, they must be hung on the safety rope while wearing the seat belt.
