The purpose is to make it as close as possible to the international standards, improve the technical content of non electrical properties, and ensure the product quality effectively. Because both GB 20991-2007 and GB 21146-2007 adopt international standards, and their technical contents are basically consistent with international standards, while GB 21146 adopts the test method of GB 20991, the general requirements and corresponding test methods of GB 12011-2000 are supplemented and modified on the basis of fully digesting and absorbing the technical contents of these two standards. The main technical changes of the new standard and the old standard are as follows: A) in terms of the requirements for safety upper: the requirements and measurement methods for safety upper height are modified. The requirements of 5.4.4 in GB 21146 and the test method of 6.4 in GB 20991 are adopted the requirements and test methods for folding resistance, water vapor permeability and coefficient, pH value, hydrolysis and hexavalent chromium content of safety uppers are added. 1n terms of folding resistance, the requirements for folding resistance of rubber and polymer uppers are mainly added. The requirements of 5.4.5 in GB 21146 and 6.5 in GB 20991 are adopted; For the requirements and test methods of water vapor permeability and coefficient, pH value, hexavalent chromium content and hydrolysis, the corresponding requirements and methods in GB 21146 and GB 20991 are adopted respectively< 1n terms of the requirements for the outsoles: the requirements and measuring methods for the antiskid pattern and thickness of the outsoles are added to make them more specific and comprehensive the requirements and test methods for the tear strength of outsoles are added. The requirements of 5.8.2 in gb21146 and 8.2 in GB 20991 are adopted the requirements and test methods for wear resistance and folding resistance of safety shoes’ outsoles are modified. Considering the differences of wear resistance of different materials and different pressure levels of shoes, the requirements of 5.8.3 in GB 21146 are adopted. And according to the test conditions, it is re specified; The requirements of 5.8.4 in GB 21146 and 8.3 and 8.4 in gb20991 are adopted for the folding resistance the hydrolysis requirements and test methods for polyurethane sole and outer layer are added. The requirements of 5.8.5 in GB 21146 and 8.5 in gb20991 are adopted the requirements and test methods for the bonding strength of the middle layer of multilayer sole are added.
