December 15 at the recently held “safety protection shoes certification technology seminar”, Wenzhou entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau revealed that from January to October this year, our city exported 21 million pairs of safety protection shoes (“labor protection shoes”), with an export value of US $206 million, a year-on-year increase of 85%, setting the best record in history
it is reported that there are more than 50 companies engaged in the production and export of safety protective shoes in our city, and the products are distributed in more than 120 countries and regions around the world
according to the introduction, Wenzhou’s “labor protection shoes” are popular in the international market, mainly due to the good influence brought by the recovery of the international industrial economy, especially 26 of the 28 EU countries import “labor protection shoes” from Wenzhou. Secondly, the quality of Wenzhou’s “labor protection shoes” has changed from heavy-duty to sports and leisure, which is greatly favored by the international market. 1n addition, the European Union “labor protection shoes” enterprises have not slowed down in the economic crisis, so that Wenzhou shoes can “ride”
the Municipal Quality 1nspection 1nstitute has also reached a cooperation agreement with elkede technical design center, the Greek authoritative inspection and certification organization, to jointly provide product inspection, technology and CE certification services for “labor protection shoes”, so that Wenzhou enterprises do not have to go all the way to Guangzhou or even abroad for export certification, so as to reduce the inspection cost and shorten the inspection cycle
